How far in advance should I book?

For an early morning flight, book the day before so the driver is locked in. For a maxi or a group of eight or more, give us as much notice as you can. Otherwise a few hours is usually enough, and we run 24 hours if you need a taxi now. Call 0460 306 061 to book by phone.

Can I book a return trip?

Yes. Choose the return option when you book and add your return date and time. Both legs are quoted together as one fare.

How do I change or cancel a booking?

Call us and quote the booking reference from your confirmation email. There is no cancellation fee if you give us reasonable notice.

Do you track my flight?

Yes, on every airport pickup, at no extra cost. Add your flight number when you book and we monitor the arrival time. If you land early or your flight is delayed, your driver adjusts.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Your booking moves with the flight. Because we track it, your driver works to the actual landing time rather than the original one, and you are not charged waiting time for a delay outside your control.

What is meet and greet?

Your driver waits inside the terminal with a name sign and helps with your bags, rather than meeting you at the kerb. It costs $35 and covers up to one hour of waiting.

Is there an extra fee for airport pickups?

A $5.26 airport pickup fee applies, set by the airport and charged by every operator. It applies only when your trip starts at the airport, not when you are being dropped off.

Do you pick up from hotels?

Yes, from any hotel, serviced apartment or short stay address in Melbourne. Give us the property name and we will meet you at the lobby or the pickup point the hotel uses for taxis.

Can you collect from a conference, wedding or event venue?

Yes. For a scheduled group departure from a venue, call ahead and we will arrange several vehicles to arrive together rather than booking each one separately.

Do you know the MCG, Marvel Stadium and Crown pickup points?

Yes, our drivers work these venues regularly and know where rideshare and taxi pickup is actually permitted, which is not always the nearest entrance.

Are your drivers accredited?

Yes, every driver holds a current Victorian commercial driver accreditation and the vehicle is licensed for hire and reward.

What if I need to reach you during the trip?

Call 0460 306 061 any time, day or night. A person answers, not a queue or a chatbot, so a change of plan or a delay is handled straight away.

Is the vehicle insured for passengers?

Yes, every vehicle carries full passenger insurance as required for licensed taxi and hire car operation in Victoria.

How many passengers fit?

A standard taxi and an SUV both take up to four passengers, and a maxi takes up to eleven. The SUV is priced the same as a standard taxi but has more boot space, so take it if you need the extra luggage room.

How many seats does a maxi taxi have?

A maxi taxi takes up to eleven passengers, making it the right choice for a large family or a group flying in together. It is priced the same as a standard fare, plus a $17.80 maxi surcharge, worked out on the real distance rather than a flat group rate.

Do you have baby seats?

Yes, $40 per trip. It has to be requested when you book so the correct restraint is fitted beforehand. Tell us the age and approximate weight of the child.

Do I need to bring my own car seat by law?

In Victoria, children under a certain age and height legally need a proper car seat or booster, and that requirement applies to taxis as well as private cars. We provide one for $40 per trip when you request it at booking, so there is nothing for you to carry through the airport. Just tell us the child's age and approximate weight.

Can you take a wheelchair?

Yes, wheelchair accessible vehicles are available with notice. Call us rather than booking online so the right vehicle is allocated.

You pay the driver at the end of the trip by cash, card or Cabcharge. Nothing is charged when you book.

Do you accept Cabcharge, TAC and NDIS?

All three. Cabcharge cards, digital passes and eTickets are accepted on any trip. For TAC and NDIS funded travel, mention it when you book so the driver has the right paperwork.

What is Cabcharge and how do I use it?

Cabcharge is a payment card, digital pass or eTicket, usually issued through a corporate account, a TAC claim or NDIS funded travel. If you have one, mention it when you book. Your driver processes it at the end of the trip the same way as a card, so there is nothing extra you need to do or bring beforehand.

Can I get an invoice instead of paying per trip?

Yes. If you book regularly, call 0460 306 061 and we will set up an account with monthly invoicing.

A lot of airport trips get billed somewhere other than the traveller's own card. Because your price is agreed before you travel, whoever is reconciling the account knows the number in advance instead of chasing down a variable metered fare later.

Cabcharge Cards, digital passes and eTickets accepted on any trip, with nothing to arrange in advance. TAC and WorkSafe claims Approved treatment, rehabilitation and return to work travel billed directly, including standing weekly bookings. NDIS transport Plan managed, self managed or agency managed, billed against your approved supports. Corporate accounts Monthly invoicing, cost centre references and several bookers on one account.

How much is a taxi to Melbourne Airport?

It depends where you are travelling from. The fare is a $5.25 flag fall, plus $2.34 per kilometre, plus the real toll for your route, worked out on the real driving distance. Does the price change once I have booked?

No. Once you lock in a price through the fare estimator or booking form, heavy traffic, roadworks or a longer route do not change what you pay. There is no meter running, and no surge pricing at peak times, on weekends or on public holidays.

Are tolls included?

Yes, the toll is already in your quoted fare. This is where a lot of airport fares quietly grow, so we build it in rather than adding it at the end.

Is there a surcharge for a larger vehicle?

The SUV and the maxi both carry a high occupancy surcharge of $17.80, at a flat rate regardless of distance. Premium Taxi Service adds $11.

Is a taxi cheaper than Uber to Melbourne Airport?

It depends what time you travel. Uber and other rideshare apps use surge pricing at busy times, so the price can jump right when you need it most, an early flight, a late arrival or peak hour traffic. Our fare does not do that. You get a price estimate before you book, and it stays the same whether it is 6am, raining, or half the city is heading to the airport at once.
