Same price as a sedan, three more seats
A seven seater costs exactly what a sedan costs on any trip we run. There is no surcharge for the extra room, which means the only reason to squeeze five people and their luggage into a sedan is habit.
If you are travelling as a group of five, six or seven, or as four adults with full sized cases, book the seven seater. It is the same fixed fare and a considerably better trip.
When it is the right call
- Four adults with checked luggage. A sedan boot takes three large cases comfortably. Four is a squeeze, and someone ends up with a bag on their lap.
- Families with a pram. Prams travel free and do not count towards luggage, but they take real boot space. A seven seater absorbs that without argument.
- Golf clubs, skis, instruments. Anything long goes in far more easily.
- Five to seven passengers. The obvious one. Everyone in one vehicle, one fare, one arrival time.
Seven seater or maxi?
Seven passengers is the limit for a seven seater, and that assumes reasonable luggage. If you are at seven people with a full load of bags, or eight or more passengers, you need the maxi, which seats up to eleven and carries a flat $17.80 surcharge.
If you are unsure, tell us the passenger count and roughly how many bags when you book and we will allocate the right vehicle. Getting this wrong at the kerb at 5am is nobody’s idea of a good start.
Booking one
Select the seven seater when you book, or mention it if you call. Because it costs the same as a sedan, your quote does not change when you switch. Add a flight number and we track your arrival at no extra cost.
