Taxi to Melbourne Airport started with a simple observation: the trip to the terminal is the part of the journey people worry about most, and it is the part the industry handles worst. A meter that keeps running in traffic, a driver who does not turn up, a fare that ends up higher than expected. None of that is complicated to fix. It just requires deciding to.
So we fixed the price. Every trip we quote is worked out on the real driving distance and agreed before you travel. Traffic on the Tullamarine, a detour around roadworks, a 3am pickup on a public holiday: none of it changes what you pay.
Where we go
We cover Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine and Avalon Airport, from 196 suburbs and regional towns across Victoria. That includes the outer suburbs and country runs a lot of operators quietly decline, from Craigieburn and Werribee out to Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Seymour and the Mornington Peninsula.
Every one of those areas has its own page on this site showing the real distance, the typical drive time and the exact fixed fare. Nothing is hidden behind a phone call.
The fleet
We work within a network of more than 500 Melbourne taxis, which is what lets us cover that many suburbs around the clock rather than only servicing the profitable inner ring. Vehicles range from standard sedans through seven seaters to eleven seat maxi vehicles, with Silver Service available when the trip calls for it.
A sedan and a seven seater cost the same fixed fare. We do not charge more for a larger vehicle unless it is a maxi, where the surcharge is a flat $17.80 regardless of distance.
How we work
- The price is fixed. Quoted before you book, including tolls. No meter, no surge pricing, no exceptions at peak times or on public holidays.
- We track your flight. On every airport pickup, at no cost. An early landing or a two hour delay is handled without you needing to call.
- Someone answers the phone. 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including the hours when you actually need an airport taxi.
- We take Cabcharge, TAC and NDIS. Corporate accounts, insurance funded travel and approved disability transport are all normal work for us.
Accreditation
We operate as a fully accredited commercial passenger vehicle service in Victoria. Drivers hold current driver accreditation, vehicles are inspected and insured to the standard required for commercial passenger work, and every trip is covered.
