Transport for NDIS participants
If your NDIS plan includes transport funding, we can take you to the places your plan supports. For participants making the same journey every week, the point of it is that getting there stops being something you have to organise each time.
We cover appointments, day programs, social and community participation, education, work travel and airport transfers where the trip sits within your approved supports.
Booking an NDIS taxi
Call us on 0460 306 061. A person answers, day or night. We will go through what your plan needs on that call and confirm it before your first trip, so nothing has to be worked out on the day.
Arriving on time
A day program starts when it starts, and a therapy appointment that gets missed can be weeks away from being rebooked. Your driver is allocated ahead of time and arrives early rather than on the minute. When we collect you afterwards we work to when you are actually ready rather than to a guess.
Support workers and carers
A support worker or carer travels at no additional charge. Tell us when you book so the vehicle has room, particularly if mobility equipment is coming along as well.
Regular and standing bookings
If you travel to the same place on a fixed schedule, we can set up a standing booking so you are not calling every week. Where we can manage it we keep you with the same driver. On a trip you make fifty times a year, a driver who already knows which entrance you use and how you prefer to be helped makes a real difference.
Vehicles and mobility
Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available and need advance notice, so give us as much warning as you can. If you use a walking frame, a scooter or any other equipment, tell us when you book and we will send something with room for it.
