Transport to your treatment appointments
We are a registered WorkSafe transport provider. If you have been injured at work and WorkSafe has approved transport for your treatment, we can take you to your appointments.
Recovery from a workplace injury usually means the same trip repeated over months, to physiotherapy, to a specialist, to an independent medical examination. Getting to each of those is the part people are least able to deal with while they are injured, which is the part we take on.
Booking a WorkSafe taxi
Call us on 0460 306 061. A person answers, day or night. We will go through what your claim needs on that call and confirm it before your first trip.
Getting there on time
Treatment appointments are hard to move and easy to lose. Your driver is allocated ahead of time and arrives early rather than on the minute, and when we collect you afterwards we work to when you are actually finished rather than to a guess.
Standing bookings while you are recovering
Most WorkSafe travel is a course of treatment rather than a single visit. We can set up a standing booking for the whole schedule, so you are not making the same phone call every week while you are trying to recover. Same driver wherever we can manage it, which means someone who already knows which entrance you use.
Vehicles and mobility
Tell us what you need when you book. If you are on crutches, in a moon boot, using a walking frame or in a wheelchair, we will send a vehicle you can get in and out of without making the injury worse. Wheelchair accessible vehicles need advance notice.
For case managers and employers
If you are arranging travel for an injured worker, call us and we will set the whole run up in one conversation rather than booking each trip separately.
